That’s a wrap on the 2024–25 school year!

When I think back to the first day of school, it feels like forever ago—and yet, somehow, poof!—here we are on the last day. Time has a funny way of moving both quickly and slowly, especially in a place as full and vibrant as Samuel W. Shaw.

I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you—students, staff, parents, guardians, and caregivers. From the moment I walked through the doors of this school, I could feel that it was something special. Samuel W. Shaw is more than a building; it’s a community deeply connected to the people it serves. Every one of you has contributed to making our school feel like a big family, and our building a true home away from home.

Over the past ten months, we’ve gathered in this space to learn, celebrate, connect, perform, cheer, and grow. We've shared moments of joy, challenge, discovery, and pride. And through it all, we’ve built something truly meaningful—together.

As many of you know, our school is named after Samuel W. Shaw, a visionary, trailblazer, and innovator. He believed deeply in the power of connection, compassion, and courageous action. His legacy continues to guide us, inspiring students and staff alike to lead with purpose, care deeply for others, and contribute positively to the world around them.

I feel incredibly blessed to be part of this school community. My heart—and my family—grew this year, and I am a better person and leader because of it.

Enjoy your summer!
