This is a reminder to our amazing school community that we need your help!  We have a casino event coming up on Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17 at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino (11500 35 St. S.E. #1000, Calgary, AB T2Z 3W4). There are daytime, evening, and late night volunteer shifts available whichever suits your schedule best.  Many volunteers are needed to make this fundraising event a success. Casinos bring in much needed revenue to help support our school with bigger purchases.  Some of the investments that have supported our students are student laptops, performance stage/risers, musical instruments, microscopes, phys-ed equipment, construction/woodworking, and playground equipment.  All these wonderful investments help to enhance our students' learning experience at Samuel W Shaw School.   

No experience is needed as we have amazing Casino Advisors that train and support each of us throughout our casino shift.
