Important Information: Thank you to the parents & caregivers that attended our first School Council meeting of the year last night! It was wonderful to have some new faces and additional support. Our council works hard each year to fundraise, volunteer, and cheer us on in every way. The next meeting will be held on October 15 at 6:30pm- everyone is welcome! There’s still time to order Subway for Healthy Hunger Lunch on Thursday, Sept 24! Orders close Saturday night (Sept 19). Proceeds from Healthy Hunger support our school- thank you in advance for your orders! School pictures arrived this week! There’s a good chance your student’s photos are currently buried at the bottom of their backpack or lodged deep in their locker beside a piece of Tupperware from the first week of school. Please ask your child to bring them home—before the photos become part of an archaeological discovery in June! Retakes are October 21. Away for Day Cell Phone reminder! Please remind your student(s) that their cell phones, smart watches, air pods, headphones all need to be away for the day in their lockers! In 1980, Terry showed us what courage, compassion, and determination look like. Today, that example is needed more than ever and we are inspired to join 4,000,000 Canadian students who are leading the way.
